Mdm Rita founded RAA Capital in 2017 and has spearheaded the growth of the company since. She is currently an Associate Director of SCS Global Sdn. Bhd and is an investment representative license holder in corporate finance (CMSLR license under the Securities Commission Malaysia).

Currently, she is a strategic advisor, including in the ESG space, for several public companies and SME’s.
Rita was the CEO of MSWG from Jan 2009 until Dec 2016. She was one of the founder directors of MSWG from 2002 until March 2017. She was the founding member and is in the Council for the Institutional Investor Council of Malaysia. She’s authored many publications in the areas of Economics, Investment and Corporate Governance.
She has over twenty years of experience at the Employees Provident Fund (EPF), from 1984 to 2007, where she headed various Departments in the Investment Research Division, including the Industry and Security Research, Private Equity, and Corporate Planning Departments.
In 2011, she was awarded the Brand Laureate Brand ICON Leadership Award for Transformation Leadership by the Asia-Pacific Brands Foundation. Three years later, she received the Women of Excellence Award for “Outstanding Achievement” under the Quasi Government Category supported by the Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development. Rita was awarded the CEO Insights Asia Top 10 Award for “Leaders from Consulting Companies in Malaysia – 2024”
Rita holds an Honors degree in Economic Statistics from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (1984) and a Master of Business Administration from Henley Management College, (1993) UK. She has the CMSLR for Corporate Finance in SCS Advisory. She is a GRI Certified Sustainability Professional from Global Reporting Initiative with validation credentials.
