RAA AI Governance Policy (RAA-AIGP) Version: 2.1

1. RAA’s Commitment to Responsible and Ethical AI

At RAA, we are committed to using artificial intelligence (AI) responsibly and ethically. Recognising the transformative power of AI, we aim to ensure that its development and deployment are guided by a robust governance policy that prioritises the well-being, safety, and rights of individuals. Our practices are built on a foundation of national regulations, including compliance with Malaysian laws such as the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 and Personal Data Protection (Amendment) Act 2024 (PDPA), MyDIGITAL’s AI governance guidelines, and CyberSecurity Malaysia’s cybersecurity standards.

To reinforce this commitment and stay ahead in a rapidly evolving technological landscape, we actively align our policies with globally recognised frameworks. This alignment ensures that we meet international standards for data protection, promote the development of trustworthy AI, and deploy secure and resilient AI systems. Through these efforts, we place strong emphasis on transparency, accountability, fairness, and security, ensuring that our AI tools and applications are managed in ways that inspire confidence and foster trust among our stakeholders..

2. Focus on Continuous Improvement

At the heart of RAA’s AI Governance Policy (RAA-AIGP) is a commitment to continuous learning and development. AI is an evolving field, and we regularly review and enhance our governance practices to stay ahead of emerging challenges and advancements. We are dedicated to keeping our policies agile and adaptive, leveraging the latest insights and industry best practices to improve the quality, safety, and ethical standards of our AI systems.

This approach includes periodic audits as we develop new products, collaboration with experts, and engagement with regulators and industry peers. By fostering these partnerships, we ensure that our governance policy remains robust and forward-looking, capable of addressing the complexities of AI technology as they arise.

3. Future-Focused Governance

RAA remains committed to continually advancing its AI governance policies, keeping pace with the dynamic nature of AI technology and its societal implications.

With a clear vision and a strong focus on the continuous development of our governance policy, RAA aspires to lead by example in utilising AI as a force for good, responsibly and ethically, with an unwavering commitment to creating positive outcomes for individuals, businesses, and society as a whole.
